What we do

Coastline Plumbing & Gas provides 5 core services across Perth and surrounding areas. Every one comes with upfront pricing and workmanship we're proud to guarantee.

Our services, in detail

Emergency plumbing

Burst pipes, major leaks, no water — 24/7 response across the southern suburbs.

When water is going where it shouldn't, you need someone now — not tomorrow morning. Coastline Plumbing & Gas answers emergency calls 24 hours a day across Fremantle and Perth's southern suburbs. We carry the parts and equipment to stop most emergencies on the spot: burst pipes, failed hot water systems, serious leaks, blocked sewer lines backing up into the house. You'll get an upfront price before we start, even at 2 am, and we'll talk you through turning the water off while we're on our way.

  • Answered 24 hours, 7 days — a real person, not a machine
  • Usually at your door within the hour in our core suburbs
  • Upfront pricing before any work starts, day or night
  • Fully stocked vans — most emergencies fixed on the first visit

Blocked drains

Cleared properly with camera inspection, so the same blockage doesn't come back.

A blocked drain that keeps coming back hasn't been fixed — it's been poked. We clear blockages with high-pressure water jetting, then run a camera down the line to show you exactly what caused it: tree roots, a collapsed section, or years of build-up. You see the footage, you get a straight answer about whether it needs a repair, and you get a fixed price before any repair work begins. We clear kitchen sinks, toilets, showers, stormwater and main sewer lines.

  • High-pressure jetting clears the whole pipe, not just a hole through it
  • Camera inspection included — you see what we see
  • Fixed quote before any repair work
  • Honest advice on whether a repair is actually needed

Hot water systems

Repairs and same-day replacement of gas, electric and solar hot water systems.

No hot water is an emergency in our book. We repair all major brands — Rheem, Rinnai, Bosch, Dux, Vulcan — and if your system is beyond saving, we can usually replace it the same day. We'll tell you honestly whether a repair is worth it: a twelve-year-old storage unit with a rusted tank needs replacing, not a $400 band-aid. If you're due for a new system, we'll size it properly for your household so you're not paying to heat water you never use.

  • Same-day replacement in most cases
  • All major brands repaired and supplied
  • Straight advice on repair vs replace
  • Old system removed and disposed of

Gas fitting

Licensed gas fitters for installations, repairs, bayonets and safety checks.

Gas work is not the place for shortcuts. Our licensed gas fitters install and repair gas hot water systems, cooktops, ovens and heaters, run new gas lines, fit bayonets, and carry out safety checks and compliance certificates. If you can smell gas, treat it as an emergency: turn it off at the meter, don't touch switches, and call us. Every gas job we do is tested, certified and compliant with WA regulations.

  • Licensed gas fitters only — never apprentices alone
  • Compliance certificate with every installation
  • Gas leak detection and urgent repairs
  • New lines, bayonets and appliance connections

Leak detection

Find hidden leaks without tearing your house apart.

A high water bill, a warm patch on the floor, or the sound of running water when everything's off — hidden leaks waste money and quietly damage your home. We use acoustic listening equipment and thermal imaging to pinpoint leaks behind walls, under slabs and in underground lines, usually without lifting a single tile. Once we've found it, you get photos, a clear explanation, and a fixed price to fix it properly.

  • Non-invasive detection — no guesswork demolition
  • Pinpoint accuracy saves unnecessary repairs
  • Fixed-price repair quote once located
  • Helps with Water Corporation leak allowance claims

Common questions

Do you charge a call-out fee?

During business hours, quotes are free within our service area. For after-hours emergencies there's a call-out fee that we tell you about on the phone before we dispatch — you'll never discover it on the invoice afterwards.

How fast can you get here in an emergency?

Within our core suburbs — Fremantle, Palmyra, Melville and surrounds — we're usually at your door within the hour, day or night. While we're on the way, we'll talk you through shutting off the water or gas to limit the damage.

Are your quotes really fixed?

Yes. We assess the job, give you a fixed price, and only start once you approve it. If we uncover something unexpected mid-job, we stop, show you, and re-quote before going further. The decision is always yours.

Are you licensed and insured?

Every plumber and gas fitter on our crew holds a current WA licence, and we carry $20 million public liability insurance. Gas work comes with a compliance certificate as standard.

What payment methods do you take?

Card, bank transfer or cash, paid on completion. We carry mobile card terminals, so there's no chasing invoices or trips to the ATM.
